I have condensation on the inside of my refrigerator I called whirlpool for a service guy to come out and was told there are no service techs in my area. I then tried to email them and that went nowhere either. I can not say it is a good product with good service but what I can say from my experience their help with their product and their warranty you would be better off finding a different item from a different company, because as it stands I would have to say their product is. Not reliable.

We bought this refrigerator 16 months ago and in the last month it has started freezing items in the refrigerator. The temperature has been lowered to the lowest temperature and still having issue. Called the company we purchased it from and they told us sorry your warranty is expired and you will have to pay for a service repair person to come fix it. Very disappointing that this refrigerator is less than two years old and already causing problems™€¦ we most definitely will not be buying another one

freeze temps in frsh food section warmest setting

Fridge is one year old. It started freezing food in fresh food section 10 months after purchase. Called for warranty service and they replaced temperatue control and that did not fix problem. Called for service again and tech in my home called technical support and I was told to run freezer at 'Maximum' setting on dial even thought I don't have an ice maker. It just made the fresh food section even colder. I had a scheduled and confirmed appointment today with G&G appliances and they 'no showed' and never called me. When I called them to inquire I was told tech was at your house and appliance working acceptably. I can never get to a techinical person on the phone despite being given the 866.698.2538 phone # with a 'ticket' number

Overall, I am happy about this refrigerator. The plastic on the drawers is not great, but otherwise, they seem well designed. The one thing that I am very disappointed with is the refrigerator light. It is an LED light with a blue hue of lower wattage. I REALLY wanted to replace it, but it has an unusual base instead of a standard base. There is also no other option for a bulb. It would have been so much nicer to just replace this bulb with a brighter more pleasant one. If you know of a more pleasant light with which to replace it, please let me know.

I live solo and this refrigerator provides the perfect amount of space for my needs. The door compartments accommodate tall items (pitchers, bottles, etc.). So far, it runs perfectly, and the recommended setting keeps everything at the correct temperatures. Quiet operation. This refrigerator replaced another Whirlpool which was over 20 years old and still functioning decently, so I™€™m expecting this one will last for quite a while too.

I was forced to buy a new one when my old reliable one suddenly went out after 31 years. Yep, 31 years. It was a Whirlpool so didn't hesitate to get another one. So far, so good. I gave it only 4 stars due to a few things that are my own personal preferences that may not be a concern to others. The door does not have the molded in shelves, only one bottom one, the rest is removable cubbies. I prefer several shelves the width of the door. It does have the butter dish area with shelf beside it that has foldable bottom which I like. The other drawback for me is the top interior shelf with sliding drawer attached to it. I like the drawer's ability to slide back and forth as needed but the shelf itself is too close to the top. If I move it down, which has that option, then I would have to remove the drawer completely as it's too close to the second shelf, and if I move the second shelf, then it's too close to the bottom. Again it's personal preference but I like my milk and tall things on the top shelf, not in the door. I stack Tupperware on the other shelves so need all the height I can get. The middle shelf is more narrow, set back in, than the top shelf so you have to reach in farther. And instead of dial controls, it has one electronic control. Would prefer no electronics. That would be my only complaints. It's a nice size, bigger than my old one, but nothing else was available in a timely manner in the style or color I wanted and could not go without for a month or better. Sure didn't want to go smaller than 18 cf. So here we are with this one. The black is not bad, it blends well. It's well lit when opening the door. The glass shelves and clear drawers give a clean appearance. Has plenty of room. Freezer has lots of room. Has a shelf and molded shelves in door. I did not get an ice maker as It's really a waste for us. It's really a nice fridge overall. Hope this review helps. Hope I get another 31 years!!! Or I should say, Hope it out lives me :)

I™€™ve had this fridge for about one month and I™€™m very pleased with it. Interestingly, this new Whirlpool appliance is from the same manufacturer, is the exact size inside and out, same color, but with improved features from the previous Whirlpool fridge I owned for more than 20 years. Yes, more than 20 years! In those many years I never experienced a problem that required reliance on a repairman. I™€™m rather certain you can™€™t reasonably expect anything more from a fridge. This item has a proven track record in my home. Nothing speaks louder than reliable performance.

only had it one week for the first couple days very noisy compressor was going to return it to costco but decided to keep it well that was a mistake called whirlpool repair number and they wouldn™€™t send out a technician until i purchased a service contract very poor customer service so this week couldn™€™t control the temperature no matter where i put it the thing would freeze up had to turn it off i™€™m returning it now tried to get a technician to look at it after three calls and everyone asking where i purchased it they would say can™€™t help you for 5-8 days out

The refrigerator section is nearly impossible to keep at a constant temperature; freezer section appears to work fine. Despite changing the settings exactly as the manual suggests, the temperature in the refrigerator section will stay cool as desired for a while, but then a few days later refrigerator items will be frozen. (This morning our carrots and strawberries were frozen.) This has happened multiple times; there seems to be no solution. We™€™ve never had this problem with other make/model refrigerators.

I've owned Whirlpool appliances most of my life and have been a been a fan of their reliability and longevity. I have a Whirlpool refrigerator in my garage that was moved across state, is over 30 years old and still runs like a champ. My last purchase to update only lasted 5 years. Still, I replaced it with another Whirlpool. Shortly after it was delivered, the door was making loud grinding noise when opening and closing. The installer returned to repair what was a problem in the bottom frame. Now the door does not close automatically and the rubber around the door makes a squishy sound. Hmmm... I don't think there should be issues five days after purchasing an appliance.

I recieved this 11 days ago. The first 2 were damaged. This one looked good, so we set it up and turned it on the recommended temperature setting, and it froze my lettuce. I then turned it all the way on warm and monitored the temp between 33 and 40. I turned it up 1 and froze my salad. The temperature doesn't seem to work right. The freezer temperature runs warm (the opposite) I have it on the coldest setting and it runs between 6 and 15° F. I believe this should be at 0° F. They don't make quality refridgerators anymore.

The door has shelves that are deep enough to hold a gallon of milk. This makes it easy to find the milk. It also frees up space in the main part of the fridge for other things.

Top freezer

I™€™ve had the refrigerator for about a week and so far I love it. My last refrigerator had the freezer on the bottom and I™€™m so happy with this one with the freezer on the top. I can see everything and food isn™€™t falling out The fridge seems to be working just great so far.

Love the color black!

I now have had it 3 weeks now and happy with it. I am not happy with Lowes. I purchase the ice maker and they said that it will be installed when it gets delivered. The delivery men said no that they do not install ice maker so I had to pay a handy man to do that for me. Extra money I DO NOT HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
